Rita P. Magalhães, Ph.D. Student at BioSIM, participated in BioExcel’s Remote Winter School on Biomolecular Simulations along with 29 other participants from all over the world. Rita had the opportunity to present her work as a scientific poster with the title “Large Scale Virtual Screening for the Identification of new Drugs Against P.aeruginosa”.
Her poster was chosen among the top 6 best posters from the conference, selected by the winter school trainees and organizers. This event took place from the 30th of November to the 4th of December and included lectures and hands-on sessions on Molecular Dynamics simulations, Biomolecular Docking, Free energy calculations, Advanced sampling methods (Metadynamics), and BioExcel Building Blocks.
