Sérgio F. Sousa presented a talk entitled “Use of DFT in the Study of Enzymatic Reaction Mechanisms ” at the “DFT@PT” Meeting, which took place at the Dept of Physics of the University of Coimbra, Portugal on May 25th 2023.
This event drew a diverse audience of approximately 50 participants from various universities and research institutes across Portugal. Its primary objective was to showcase the developments in the field of Density Functional Theory (DFT) within the country, fostering increased collaboration and knowledge exchange among different research centers.
The “DFT@PT” Meeting was structured as an informal gathering, where speakers were encouraged to present their latest research findings, as well as open questions and challenges. This format created a conducive atmosphere for active discussions and the exchange of innovative ideas.
