Rita P. Magalhães, PhD Student at BioSIM, participated in the Machine Learning in Quantum Physics and Chemistry summer school, organized by the Faculty of Physics of the University of Warsaw. The school took place from august 24th to September 3rd in Warsaw, Poland.
Rita had the opportunity to present her work as a scientific poster, entitled “Development of a Classification Model for the Identification of Targets to Known P.aeruginosa Biofilm Formation Inhibitors” developed under the supervision of Sérgio F. Sousa in collaboration with João Carneiro (CIIMAR). This school constituted an opportunity to develop knowledge in the fields of Machine Learning applied to quantum physical and chemical problems.
