Mariana Valquaresma was a student in the final year of her B.Sc. in Medical Biotechnology (Escola Superior de Saúde, Instituto Politécnico do Porto). She developed an internship at BioSIM, under the supervision of Sérgio Sousa (FMUP/BioSIM), working on the computational identification of druggable binding pockets in enzymes and proteins of pharmacological interest.
