We are working into an Augmented Reality technology to represent molecules in the 3D space using any device (computer, smartphone or tablet) with a browser and a camera



This technology was developed based on A-FRAME and AR.js by Jerome Etienne. Both frameworks are under MIT license.

BioSIMAR is in development but there are already a set of 30 molecules that can be visualized using your device.

How to start?

  1. Download the set of cards here.
  2. Print the cards.
  3. On your smartphone, tablet or another device with a camera, open the browser (Safari, Firefox, Chrome…) and go to this page (BioSIMAR Camera).
  4. Points the camera of your device to the card and see the molecule popping up. Rotate the card and see the molecule in different angles.
