BioSIM welcomes a new Master’s student, Beatriz Santos from Engineering School, University of Minho.
Beatriz has a BSc degree in biochemistry and a MSc in Molecular biology, both from University of Minho, and is a fellowship researcher in ICVS.
Beatriz is currently enrolled in the MSc in Bioinformatics and will develop her internship project at BioSIM, working in the application of computational tools for the identification of novel breast cancer-related biomarkers though an aptamer-based proteomics approach, working under the supervision of Sérgio F. Sousa (FMUP/BioSIM) and Débora Ferreira (CBE, Univ Minho).
