Many Congratulations to our 2 New Ph.D. Students, Rita Magalhães and Carlos Pereira, who were awarded funding from FCT to pursue their studies at BioSIM for the next four years under the supervision of Dr. Sérgio F. Sousa.
Rita Magalhães’ work will focus on the Computational Optimization of Biocatalysts for Plastic Biodegradation.
Carlos Pereira’s research will be dedicated to the development of machine learning algorithms for rational protein engineering and will be developed with the co-supervision of Dr. João Carneiro (CIIMAR).
