Sérgio F. Sousa leads the BioSIM research group at UCIBIO@REQUIMTE (FMUP), together with Nuno S. Cerqueira. His research interests include the catalytic power of enzymes, computer-aided drug design, biodesulfurization, computational methods in chemistry and biochemistry, metalloenzymes, biological membranes, docking, virtual screening, and computational enzymatic catalysis.
